PDE5 inhibitors (tadalafil, sildenafil, vardenafil)
- Do not take with nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide) or recreational nitrites ("poppers") — combination can cause severe, potentially fatal low blood pressure.
- Use caution with alpha-blockers (doxazosin, tamsulosin) and other blood-pressure medications — can cause lightheadedness or fainting.
- Not appropriate if you have had a recent heart attack, stroke, or severe cardiovascular disease, or have uncontrolled hypertension or hypotension.
- Seek emergency care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism) or sudden vision or hearing loss.
- Common side effects: headache, flushing, mild nasal congestion, back pain, indigestion. Usually mild and transient.
Fat-soluble vitamins (D3, K2)
- At the daily doses in this formula (Vitamin D3 200 IU, Vitamin K2 1 mg), generally well-tolerated.
- If you take warfarin, discuss K2 supplementation with your prescriber — vitamin K can interact with blood-thinning therapy.
